I’ve been dreaming about Grafton Street. There’s so much to see in Dublin, but I always gravitate to Grafton Street. It started with my love of Glen Hansard, who started as a busker on Grafton Street, but it’s so much more now. I love lingering by musicians, young and old, as they sing the old standards or their own creations. It’s like having a really good soundtrack to your life.

After I hit the department store Brown Thomas, I mosey through a few boutiques and treat myself to something cute or buy a souvenir for my best friend or cousin. Oh yes, I NEED that white chambray blouse with the bell sleeves!

Maybe I’ll buy some cheese for my pre-dinner snack at the hotel, or some Guinness-infused fudge, and people-watch to my heart’s content. If I don’t head to St. Stephen’s Green to continue my people-watching and walking, I’ll duck into a nearby pub for a wee Bailey’s Irish Creme or a cup of tea. Maybe it will be Kehoe’s, maybe it will be the Hairy Lemon.
